Safir Society was founded by Leila Addad and Carolyn Koch, brought together by a shared love of travel, inspiring places, and thoughtfully crafted experiences.

Leila Addad is an architect who grew up in Tunisia and has lived in Paris for over 25 years. Her outlook is shaped by a deep sensitivity to places, atmospheres, and the cultures she discovers through travel. She brings to each project an architectural perspective and a particular care for the harmony of a place and the details that make it special.

Carolyn, an American who has made Paris her home for over a decade, comes from a background in communications and corporate culture. Through her work and her writing about life in Paris, she has developed a strong instinct for bringing people together and creating events that feel both seamless and memorable.

They first met through their children, who attend the same school, and quickly discovered a shared way of working: thoughtful planning, close attention to detail, and a desire to create experiences that feel elegant, personal, and well considered.

From this meeting grew Safir Society, an agency where architecture, organization, and a deep sense of place come together to design travel experiences and events across France.
